FHM 100 Sexiest Woman in the World – Alodia Gosiengfiao

Once again, Alodia has been nominated as one of FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the world. Yes, the whole world!!! Not just in Philippines!!

She was also nominated last year with a ranking of 87. This year, her ranking improved to 76!!!

There are some things which I need to clarify because for some reasons I have a feeling Alodia’s haters are going to make a big fuss about her associating cosplay with FHM.

Firstly, Alodia DID NOT nominate herself for FHM 100 Sexiest Women. Fans did.

Secondly, she didn’t even wish to be featured in FHM because beside the morality clause in the contract she signed with Kojie-san, some of her fans are teens and she doesn’t feel safe to expose them to the adult magazines. 

Of course, as a guy, to some extent , I do feel disappointed not able to see her wearing sexy clothes in FHM.

But, I would rather support the Alodia who passionate about her hobby rather than the Alodia who would  just wear a bikini and walk in the runway.

The reason why I am a fan of her is because I can see the efforts she putting in to change the general perception of anime, cosplay and being an Otaku. Otaku can be cool too. And, as an Otaku, I also wish to believed in that 😀
